Zin in een ongewone hondenjob?

The FBI’s Forensic Canine Program (FCP) has a Forensic Canine Operations Specialist position available which will be posted at www.usajobs.opm.gov/ on Friday, July 16, 2010. The FCP is a science-based initiative where the staff is responsible for a variety of canine training, handling, research and administrative functions. The FCP is a national program based in Fredericksburg, VA and manages all canine-related evidence collection functions for the FBI.

We are searching for a non-traditional animal training specialist able to constructively challenge traditional methods and be challenged by other staff members. It is not a job for a dog lover. This position will require an individual that enjoys being extremely busy, responds well to constructive criticism, and is comfortable speaking in public. The work is highly visible and rewarding given the nature of crimes being investigated nationally. Interested individuals must meet certain physical requirements that will allow them to sustain long periods of running and prolonged walking. The candidates must be able to travel.

I appreciate any efforts to assist us in this important search.
